I start each coaching engagement by designing goals with the client so that clear outcomes and success measures are defined. We partner to prioritize areas for growth opportunities and build on the strengths you are already have. Whether you’re new to people management or are leading a company, my coaching can meet you where you are and help you get to the next level.
Goals and Scope
At the beginning of a coaching engagement, we identify the goals for coaching and define success outcomes. What do you want to have at the end of the coaching engagement that you don’t have now? These will be our Northstar focus as we work together.
Many coaching engagements start with an assessment to help you gain clarity and self-awareness on strengths and areas to watch out for. After taking the appropriate assessment, we’ll do a deep dive debrief to understand your natural strengths and areas to watch out for.
An optional and extremely valuable tool for executive coaching engagements is a 360-interview process. I’ll meet with a set of stakeholders that you choose, usually a combination of peers, people junior to you, and people senior to you. This objective perspective helps me understand how people are perceiving you and allows us to prioritize areas of focus for the coaching.
As a Hogan Certified practitioner, I offer this personality assessment as a tool for some of my coaching clients. Hogan is research-backed and can be a powerful tool for helping clients develop self-awareness and gain a better understanding of their strengths and weaknesses.
Coaching takes place at a regular cadence with most meetings happening over video conference. You as the client always sets the agenda, and we’ll work towards a clear outcome in each meeting. I’ll ask questions, provide observations, and share insights as appropriate.
In between coaching sessions, I’m available for email and short phone call support. I’ll be your partner and want clients to keep me in the loop on successes, challenges, and everything in between while we’re working together.
